Northgate Community Service (CSW) Program RulesNorthgate Community Service Worker (CSW) Program Rules Completing Community Service Hours • Once you are assigned your CSW hours to Community Services by the Municipal Judge and Court, the program officially starts. • Read over the Safety Requirements and Northgate Community Service Worker (CSW) Program Rules. You will then be required to sign the “Release” form and City of College Station Release and Indemnification for Community Service Program. • Hours for community service are: Monday Night: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (two slots) Tuesday through Friday Days: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM (two slots) Tuesday & Wednesday Nights: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (two slots) Sunday Night – 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (two slots) • Shifts are scheduled in three-hour increment blocks. If you don’t complete an assigned task, no credited time will be earned. • Plan-ahead when scheduling your hours. Make sure your CSW hours don’t interfere with employment or school hours. • Where to report for Community Service hours:  Location: College Main Parking Garage 309 College Main College Station, TX 77840 The office is in the Northeast corner of the Parking Garage. • To park in the garage, pull up to the gate and press for a ticket. You do not have to pay to park. At the completion of your three-hour shift and the return of your assigned equipment and vest, the staff supervising you will remotely let you out the garage. Please do not call 764-3600 unless it’s an emergency. We are fully aware that you are scheduled to work and when you are finished. If there is an actual emergency dial 9-1-1. • You must provide identification (DL or Student ID) to Community Service staff when first reporting for duty. After providing proof of identification, you will be assigned a task and directed to the cage to your retrieve your equipment / tools and vest. This is where you return and retrieve equipment for all proceeding tasks. Upon completion of each task, you will report back to the office window for further instruction. At the end of your shift, you return all your equipment nice and neatly to the bin and hang your orange vest. A staff member will then release you. Remember you do not have to pay for your parking. NOTE: Your work will be checked to ensure that it is up standard. • Do not show up for Community Service hours unless you are scheduled to work. If you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, headache, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, please do not report for you hours. Contact your doctor or local care provider. • Only one (1) cancellation/no show is permitted. More than one (1) cancellation/no show will result in removal from the program. If you are late by more than 15 minutes once, you will be given a “no show” for that day. If you receive two “no shows” you will be sent back to the Municipal Court and will be required to call them. • Cell phones are not permitted during working hours except for emergencies only. If you are seen excessively using your cell, you will be asked to put your cellphone away and may not be credited for hours in attendance.
