CorrespondenceJuly 20, 2004 Dennis Husfeld and Rostell Chapman 420 Tarrow Street College Station, Texas 77840 Dear Dennis Husfeld and Rostell Chapman: I am writing in response to you variance request dated July 12, 2004. The request asks for a variance to Section 7.3.C.3 - Spacing of Driveway Access in the UDO. After review of the request and the attached exhibit I approve the variance request. The proposed driveway accessing Longmire does not meet minimum spacing but by aligning the drive with the service access at the rear of the Kroger center on the East side of Longmire turning conflicts are minimiz In addition, this proposed location allows some flexibility for the development of the adjacent Lot 7, Block 3. I appreciate your efforts to develop in College Station as well as your efforts to minimize adverse traffic impacts. If I can provide any additional assistance please let me know.
